We’re delighted to announce a major new contract win, with Arch Communications appointed to help promote regional housebuilder William Davis Homes.

Arch beat off stiff opposition to secure the role last March, but the start of the contract was delayed when the national coronavirus lockdown began just days later.

We’ve now begun providing PR support for William Davis Homes, which has put a range of special measures in place so that it can continue to build and sell homes across the Midlands.

Arch Director Matt Youdale said: “We’re very grateful that William Davis Homes have stuck by us and we’re thrilled to have secured such a prestigious client, especially in such a challenging period for all of us. We look forward to being part of their future success.”

Our brief is to secure publicity to support sales and promote the corporate brand of the Loughborough-based business, which has won a string of top awards for its house-building.

As a result, former BBC journalist Marcus Alton joins our team next week to help run the William Davis Homes account.

After starting as a newspaper journalist, Marcus spent more than 30 years with the BBC, reporting and producing at Radio Derby, Radio Nottingham, East Midlands Today and at Broadcasting House in London. As a die-hard Nottingham Forest fan, he’s published four books and runs a tribute website for former manager Brian Clough.

The appointment signals a reunion for Marcus and Matt, who worked together at the BBC for nearly two decades.

Marcus tells us: “I’m really looking forward to this exciting new role – using my experience as a journalist to help clients like William Davis Homes. I know I’m joining a fantastic team.”

Arch Communications will be collaborating with Leicester-based AVA PR, run by Adrienne Vaughan, who has been handling corporate communications for William Davis Homes for more than 25 years. The two businesses will be working as a team, with Adrienne still looking after special projects and other communications.
