We’re excited to share that North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College (NWSLC) is teaming up with Coventry University and top engineering companies in the West Midlands. Together, we’re creating short, intensive Power Electronics, Machines, and Drives (PEMD) training bootcamps that will roll out in high-tech mobile labs in 2024.

Kicking Off Our Pilot Programs

Last week, we launched our pilot programs with Coventry University’s C-ALPS as part of the SD_APT Scalable Delivery of Applied PEMD training project. A big thanks to Innovate UK and our industry partners for co-funding this initiative.

Great Feedback from Our First Program

We’re thrilled with the positive feedback from our three-day fundamentals program at the MIRA Technology Institute. Shoutout to our fantastic attendees from GE Vernova’s Power Conversion business, Drive System Design (DSD), FEV Group, and The Blair Project.

PEMD in Action

PEMD tech is used in a variety of fields, including automotive, renewable energy, industrial automation, railways, transportation, consumer electronics, aerospace, and defence. Check out more about our work here.

More Opportunities Coming Soon

We’re running more pilot programs from July to September. Sign up now to get the latest updates and be among the first to know as our courses develop.
