Leicester-based marketing agency Digital Ethos has appointed over 20 new team members in the last six months following a series of high-profile client wins. 

This agency’s ambitious growth plans have resulted in the team almost doubling since the last quarter of 2020, including new starters who have joined the company through the government’s Kickstart Scheme, an initiative helping to create jobs for young people aged 16-24 years old. 

The business has created five roles for the Kickstart Scheme, with one yet to be filled, as well as hiring in PR, SEO and various management roles. 

Charlie Pickering, research and data analyst, said: “Joining Digital Ethos through the Kickstart Scheme has helped me to learn new skills at a dynamic company in an innovative sector. Tarnjeet Johal, junior creative content executive, said: “The Kickstart Scheme has allowed me to find a focus in my career, with a rapidly growing team who have diverse skill sets. In the three weeks since I have started, I have been able to produce and write creative content for many clients and increase my knowledge in SEO.”

Sam Shelton, social media executive, added: “The Kickstart Scheme dared me to be great and the team at Digital Ethos assured it. The creativity is contagious.”

There have also been two senior manager appointments with Jason Aiginitis joining from Adtrak as head of digital marketing and Jess Harvey from Anicca Digital, joining the team as the head of operations with over 10 years of experience in digital marketing, previously working in a similar role for over six years.

Specialising in all things SEO, Jess will spend her time looking into profitability, productivity, day-to-day life at Digital Ethos and efficiencies. Jess said: “I’m really enjoying my time at Digital Ethos. I’ve had excellent feedback from the team regarding the culture and everybody agrees it’s a genuinely brilliant place to work. It’s a real testament to Luke Tobin, Managing Director and his vision for Digital Ethos, that filters through to each individual.”

Hongyu Liu, who has joined the team as a data analyst to research potential business opportunities in the China and Asia market, said: “Digital Ethos is a very exciting company to be working for and my time here already has been extremely inspiring and productive.
