Focus Power Wins UPS Contract for Warwick University

We are pleased to announce we recently won a 6-year contract to supply, install, commission and maintain 21 x 3kVA and 1 x 6kVA UPS systems to protect the chemistry department’s sensitive mass spectrometers at @Warwick University from fluctuations in mains power.

The Socomec ITYS UPS systems, installed in mid-November, will protect the very specialist measuring equipment that had previously suffered very badly from power spikes that caused several unplanned shutdowns, costing thousands of pounds in downtime and complicated reboot procedures.
