Flowers, cakes and tins are all part of celebrations to mark a decade in business for Nottinghamshire public relations agency Arch Communications.
The company was founded by former BBC journalist Matt Youdale and began trading as a personal consultancy in April 2011. Since then, Arch has grown into a full award-winning agency, providing a wide range of PR and marketing services.
The Arch team has just planted 450 wild daffodil bulbs in the company’s home village of East Leake, with a funded bench to follow.
Arch has also launched an eye-catching online marketing campaign, The Power of Ten, which uses specially branded tins photographed in different locations – to reflect the many different ways in which PR and marketing touches people’s lives.
Other planned features of the anniversary include a Great Arch Bake-Off, and messages of support from the many people and businesses Arch has worked with over the years.
Matt said: “We’re really pleased to have reached this landmark, especially after such a challenging year. Tin is the material associated with a tenth anniversary, so we came up with the idea of branding our own cans!
“This birthday is a great opportunity to promote what we do, give something back, and have some fun at the same time. Mind you, the bake-off will be terrifying. I’ve never made a cake in my life!”
The purchase of the daffodils and bench for mean that Arch Communications has contributed almost £150,000 to local good causes through donations and pro bono work.
